9 Months
In my haste to get all my work and schoolwork and all that done, I needed to stop to post a note about beautiful Sydney turning nine months old!
I'm simply amazed at how much the girls have grown and I'm astounded each day I come home from work to find something new they've discovered or learned. Sydney is getting this close to crawling, but that does not stop her from finding her way all over the house! ShHe can pull herself along with her arms and push a bit with her legs to get anywhere she wants to go. Under the piano? no problem. Under the end tables? No problem there either! She's a talker, too. She's just at the babbling stage but it'll be very soon that she starts blasting our words.
While her 9 month checkup showed that she has a mild ear infection at the moment, she's otherwise a very healthy baby, growing at just the right speed. As the only "infant" in our family (extended or otherwise) at the moment, she gets a lot of cudding and attention, and she doesn't mind one bit. She's definitely not as gregarious as Caroline, but Sydney has a quiet way about her... until she's comfortable being in someone's arms... then she just lets the smiles fly.
Sydney, I've not written nearly as much about you as I've wanted, not kept track of all your accomplishments here as I would have liked, but I'm so lucky to be your dad. Happy 9 months!
