Ok, so I have not managed to get the Apple laptop yet. I'm still working on it, but I've got other things on my mind (soon-to-be-delivered baby, visiting relatives, and the like), and it's fallen to the back burner.
On a "new experience" note, I'm taking a "try SCUBA" class this Thursday. My brother-in-law (Todd), my younger brother (Colin), and friend (Dan), are all certified divers, and I'm really looking forward to it. It's only a 2-3 hour class, but it'll be a great introduction!
On the home improvement front, the grass seed in the yard is now germinating and beautiful light-green blades are pushing skyward. My patience is being tested as I wait for the new grass... but it's good for me to be reeminded that Mother Nature works at her own pace. Sure, I could shovel money toward a landscaper and have sod put down, but I believe seeding is the right way to go in our yard. It'll be interesting to see how things look come Fall.
And speaking of patience (or lack thereof) I'm calling Comcast today to order Broadband.
